1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using Syvra (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Syvra is an offline-first after-hours film identity journal for iOS. The App lets you:

• Log film rolls and individual frames with notes, photos, and short voice notes
• Build a personal My Scene feed from locally created posts (photo, voice, or video — not a public social network)
• Chat with an in-app Syv assistant for creative prompts (local, automated responses)
• Track daily quests, streaks, vibe titles, moods, Film Codex progress, weekly contact strips, flex posters, and lab-style insights
• Purchase Lux virtual currency for optional in-app boosts, consumables, and cosmetics

Syvra does not provide real-time social networking, user-to-user chat, or cloud-synced accounts. Content you create stays on your device unless you export or share it outside the App.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Syvra. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the App only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

4. Accounts

Quick Login

Syvra uses Quick Login, which generates a local username and password on your device. There is no remote registration server. You are responsible for your device and any local credentials the App creates.

Logout

Logging out ends your active session but does not delete local data.

Delete Account

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes local rolls, frames, posts, Lux balance, inventory, chat history, and other App data from your device. This action cannot be undone.

5. Virtual Currency and In-App Purchases

Lux

Lux is virtual currency used only inside Syvra. Lux has no real-world cash value, is non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for money except as required by applicable law.

Purchases through Apple

All Lux pack purchases are processed by Apple’s App Store via In-App Purchase (StoreKit 2). Apple’s terms and refund policies apply. Syvra does not process payments directly and does not store payment card information.

Regional pricing may differ. All sales are final except where Apple or applicable law provides otherwise.

Lux and entitlements are managed locally in conjunction with Apple’s purchase records on your Apple ID. If you reinstall the App or switch devices, Apple may restore eligible purchases according to App Store rules; Syvra does not operate a separate restore server.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Syvra for unlawful purposes or to store or attach unlawful content
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or disrupt the App
• Misrepresent Syvra as a real social network or claim that other users can see your private local feed unless you share content yourself outside the App
• Circumvent In-App Purchase or Apple payment systems

You retain ownership of content you create. You grant Syvra no license beyond what is needed to store and display that content locally on your device.

7. Permissions and Device Features

Syvra may request access to camera, microphone, photo library, App Tracking Transparency, and push notifications as described in our Privacy Policy. Use of those features is optional where iOS allows denial without blocking unrelated features.

Push notification permission is requested on the Daily Quests screen and is optional. Syvra does not guarantee delivery of notifications.

8. Intellectual Property

Syvra, its branding, UI, and original content (excluding your user content) are owned by the developer and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the App except as permitted by Apple’s App Store terms.

9. Disclaimers

Syvra is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Film exposure suggestions, Syv assistant replies, lab-style insights, and quest prompts are for creative journaling only. They are not professional photography, legal, medical, or safety advice.

Because data is stored locally, device loss, uninstall, or Delete Account may permanently remove your content. Back up important media outside the App if needed.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of Syvra.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for In-App Purchases in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or USD $10 if you made no purchases.

11. Termination

You may stop using Syvra at any time by uninstalling the App or deleting your account. We may suspend or discontinue the App where permitted by law. Sections that by nature should survive (disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) will survive termination.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date will change when we do. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the developer’s jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country provide otherwise.
